Clément Lanfranchi est un chef d'orchestre, pianiste, continuiste et chanteur français.
Né à Toulouse en 1992, il entre à l’âge de sept ans au Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse et fait des études instrumentales complètes validés par plusieurs Premier Prix ( piano - musique de chambre - direction de choeur ). Parallèlement, il se perfectionne en piano auprès de Michelle Mazzone, disciple de Marguerite Long, pendant près de dix ans.
Attiré rapidement par la Direction d'Ensembles, il étudie le Chant Choral et la Direction de chœur auprès de Rolandas Muleïka en intégrant successivement la Maîtrise grégorienne, le Grand Chœur et l'Ensemble vocal de Musique anciennes du Conservatoire. Avant la fin de ses études de direction à Toulouse en 2011, il intègre l'ensemble de musique ancienne Antiphona dirigé par Rolandas Muleïka, en tant qu'assistant et soliste chanteur. Depuis lors, il continue de travailler activement au sein de cet ensemble, faisant partie des cinq solistes permanents.
En 2012, il part étudier la direction d’orchestre au Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Montpellier, et obtient un Premier Prix trois ans plus tard ; en parallèle, il travaillera les techniques de piano accompagnement et de continuo au clavecin, ainsi que le chant lyrique. Durant cette même période, il entamera ses études universitaires en intégrant à Paris l'Université de la Sorbonne en Musique et Musicologie et obtient une Licence avec mention.
Enfin il entre en 2016 à l'Institut Supérieur des Arts de Toulouse (IsdaT) et entre dans la nouvelle classe de Direction d'orchestre de Sabrie Bekirova (diplômée de la classe de Prof. Ilya Musin, Honoured artist de la république d'Ossétie du Nord-Alania, membre de l'Union des Artistes Interprètes de Saint-Pétersbourg) sous la supervision de Tugan Sokhiev (Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse - Théâtre du Bolshoï de Moscou). Il obtient son Diplôme National Supérieur de Pratique du Musicien (DNSPM) avec Mention en 2019. Parallèlement, il suit les conseils du maestro au sein de l'Académie Internationale de Direction Tugan Sokhiev de Toulouse.
Par la suite, il reprend des études approfondies de Continuo au clavecin et à l'orgue et entre au Département de Musiques Anciennes au Conservatoire de Toulouse dans la classe d'Eva Del Campo où il obtient un premier Prix en 2022 avec félicitations du jury. C’est en 2021 qu’il fait ses débuts en tant que continuiste, au sein de l’Orchestre de Chambre de Toulouse, dirigé par Gilles Colliard.
En parallèle de ses études de direction il crée divers projets d’ensembles comme en 2013 où il participe à la création de l'Orchestre Inter-Symphonique de Montpellier, en collaboration avec le centre artistique « L'Anacrouse ». Au sein de cet ensemble, il fut inspiré à re-créer des ouvrages lyriques perdus du répertoire français du XVIIIe siècle. C’est en arrivant au Département de Musiques Anciennes à Toulouse qu’il décide de fonder son nouvel ensemble instrumental, Le Consort Apollon avec lequel il souhaite travailler des oeuvres sur instruments d’époque et proposer des concerts notamment aux jeunes publics.
Depuis quelques années il participe à des projets d’enregistrement comme en 2016, avec l'Ensemble Antiphona (dir. Rolandas Muleïka) un nouvel album sous le label Paraty distribué par Harmonia Mundi, intitulé "Occitanie baroque des pénitents noirs" sur des œuvres inédites du répertoire baroque méridional. Il contribue à l’enregistrement du premier album du Chœur de chambre Dulci Jubilo sur des oeuvres de son chef Christopher Gibert en 2018, sous le label Anima Nostra, et plus récemment il enregistre de nouveau avec l’ensemble Antiphona des motets inédits du compositeur méridional Valette de Montigny toujours sous le label Paraty et distribué par Harmonia Mundi, en 2020.
A ce jour, Clément Lanfranchi aura reçu de précieux conseils en travaillant avec des artistes de renommée internationale comme Jacques Rouvier, Anne Queffélec, Philippe Bianconi, Ventsislav Yankoff, Bruno Rigutto et plus récemment avec Gianluigi Gelmetti, John Farrer, Neil Thomson, Alexander Polianichko et a eu l'opportunité de se produire dans des festivals comme le Labyrinthe Musical en Rouergue, le festival de Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, Les Nuits Musicales en Armagnac, le festival de Rocamadour, le festival ByPass de musique contemporaine... et a collaboré avec le Saint Petersbourg Symphony Orchestra, l'Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, l'Opéra National du Capitole de Toulouse, l'Orchestre Symphonique des Jeunes de Florence, le Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra, l'Orchestre symphonique des Etudiants de Toulouse, l'ensemble United Strings of Europe (Londres), l'ensemble Tour-à-Tour (Paris), le Consort Musica Vera (Paris), le Choeur de Chambre Dulci Jubilo (Toulouse)...

Clément Lanfranchi is a French conductor, pianist, continuist and singer.
Born in Toulouse in 1992, he entered the Regional Conservatory of Toulouse at the age of seven and completed instrumental studies validated by several First Prizes (piano-chamber music-choir conducting). At the same time, he perfected his piano skills with Michelle Mazzone, a disciple of Marguerite Long, for almost ten years.
Trained quickly by the Direction of Ensembles, he studied Choral Singing and Choral Conducting with Rolandas Muleïka, successively integrating the Gregorian Master, the Grand Choir and the Vocal Ensemble of Ancient Music of the Conservatory. Before completing his conducting studies in Toulouse in 2011, he joined the Antiphona early music ensemble directed by Rolandas Muleïka, as an assistant and singing soloist. Since then, he continues to actively work in this ensemble, being one of the five permanent soloists.
In 2012, he left to study conducting at the Regional Conservatory of Montpellier, and obtained a First Prize three years later; in parallel, he will work on piano accompaniment and continuo techniques on the harpsichord, as well as lyrical singing. During the same period, he began his university studies by integrating the Sorbonne University in Paris in Music and Musicology and obtained a Bachelor's degree with honors.
Finally, in 2016 he entered the Higher Institute of Arts of Toulouse (isdaT) and entered the new conducting class of Sabrie Bekirova (graduated from the class of Prof.Ilya Musin, Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, member of the Union of Performing Artists of St. Petersburg) under the supervision of Tugan Sokhiev (National Orchestra of the Capitole of Toulouse - Moscow Bolshoi Theater). He obtained his Higher National Diploma of Musician Practice (DNSPM) with Honors in 2019. At the same time, he followed the advice of the maestro at the Tugan Sokhiev International Conducting Academy in Toulouse.
Subsequently, he resumed in-depth studies of Continuo on the harpsichord and organ and entered the Department of Ancient Music at the Toulouse Conservatory in the class of Eva Del Campo where he obtains a first Prize with the congratulations of the jury. It was in 2021 that he made his debut as a continuist, with the Toulouse Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Gilles Colliard.
In parallel with his conducting studies, he created various ensemble projects such as in 2013 where he participated in the creation of the Inter-Symphonic Orchestra of Montpellier, in collaboration with the artistic center "L'anacrouse". Within this ensemble, he was inspired to recreate lost lyrical works from the French repertoire of the eighteenth century. It was when he arrived at the Department of Ancient Music in Toulouse that he decided to found his new instrumental ensemble, The Consort Apollon with which he wanted to work on works on period instruments and offer concerts especially to young audiences.
For some years he has been participating in recording projects such as in 2016, with the Ensemble Antiphona (dir. Rolandas Muleïka) a new album under the Paraty label distributed by Harmonia Mundi, entitled "Occitanie baroque des pénitents noirs" on unpublished works of the southern baroque repertoire. He contributed to the recording of the first album of the Dulci Jubilo Chamber Choir on works by its conductor Christopher Gibert in 2018, under the Anima Nostra label, and more recently he signed up again with the Antiphona ensemble of the unpublished motets of the southern composer Valette de Montigny still under the Paraty label and distributed by Harmonia Mundi, in 2020.
